Knowledge #1 The Vulture And The Little Girl

यह फोटो साऊथ अफ्रीका के मशहूर फोटोग्राफर केविन कार्टर द्वारा खींची गई है.  इस तस्वीर का नाम "The Vulture And The Little Girl" यानि की "गिद्ध और छोटी बच्ची" है. फोटोग्राफर ने March  1993 में अफ्रीका के सुदान देश में दुकाल के दौरान यह फोटो खींची थी.

दरअसल इस तस्वीर को उन्होंने प्रख्यात मैगज़ीन The Newyork Times में प्रदर्शित किया था जिससे उनको बहुत प्रसिद्धि मिली थी  और उन्होंने Pulitzer Prize नाम का मशहूर अवार्ड मिला तब पूरी दुनिया की न्यूज़ और मीडिया पर  उनकी बहुत चर्चा हुई.

उसके दौरान एक फोन इंटरव्यू पे किसीने उनको पूछा की "उस छोटी बच्ची का क्या हुआ?" तो उन्होंने जवाब दिया की "में फोटो खींचने के बाद वह से चला गया था क्योंकि मुझे फ्लाइट पकड़नी थी" बाद में फोन इंटरव्यू वाले ने कहा की "वह एक नहीं दो गिद्ध थे, दूसरा गिद्ध फोटो खिंच रहा था" उस वाकय का फोटोग्राफर के जीवन पर इतना प्रभाव हुआ की कुछ ही महीनो में उन्होंने डिप्रेशन के कारण आत्महत्या कर दी.

दोस्तों, केविन कार्टर यानि की फोटोग्राफर अगर वह बच्ची को अपने पास से कुछ खाना खिलाते या उसको युनाइटेड नेशन के कुपोषण सेण्टर पर पहुंचाते तो बच्ची और वो दोनों ज़िंदा होते.

इससे यह सिख मिलती है की आपके पास कितना भी पैसा, सत्ता या कुशलता हो पर आप में मानवता यानि की इंसानियत नहीं है तो सब कुछ व्यर्थ है.

This photo was taken by famous South African photographer Kevin Carter. The name of this picture is "Gidhh Aur Chhoti Bachhi" i.e "Vulture and Little Girl". Photographer took this photo in March 1993 during the Drought in the Sudan country of Africa.

In fact, he displayed this picture in the famous magazine The Newyork Times, which earned him much fame and he received a lot of fame on the news and media all over the world when he received the famous award named Pulitzer Prize.

During that, in a phone interview, someone asked him "what happened to that little girl?" So he responded that "he was gone after taking the photo because I had to catch a flight". Later the phone interviewer said "There was not one vulture, there were two vultures, the other was vulture being photographed." After that it so much impact photographer's life that within a few months he committed suicide due to depression.

Friends, Kevin Carter, the photographer of the girl, would have been alive if he had fed the girl some food or had taken her to the United Nations malnutrition center.

This gives the lesson  that no matter how much money, power or skill you have, but if you do not have humanity, then everything is meaningless.
